Standard Deviation is a group that, well, deviates from the typical jazz standards. Playing traditional tunes in new styles and new tunes in traditional styles. We even play some unexpected pop-culture favorites, and always keep it groovy and engaging! We are serious musicians who don’t take ourselves too seriously. Made up of premium musicians from around the Inland Northwest, we play everything from high energy to a chill night out. The Standard Deviation Trio takes it down a notch to provide a more low-key experience for smaller spaces. Wherever we are, come join us for uncommon music and a great vibe!
